The Preston Innovations Monster Feeder Rods family includes eight rods of different lengths and strengths to cover a wide range of fishing situations.
They start with a 10 ft Ultra Light Quiver with an optimum casting weight of 30 g, there’s 11 and 11 ft 6 in. designs rated up to 60 g, a trio of 12-footers rated from 60 to 100 g and a Monster 13 ft Heavy Feeder rated with a 120 g casting weight.
Why the big range? Well Preston have designed them to cover a full range of waters from commercials to lakes, rivers and more wild waters.
Features you’ll appreciate include the two EVA handle grips on the butt section, for more control when casting and a new low profile reel seat, which sees the reel sit flush to the handle. The rods themselves are light too, so more comfortable to fish with.
Each design comes with three different strength carbon insert tips specially balanced for the blank.
You’ll find a keeper ring to keep your rig tidy, and the rods are lined with low profile guides, following the blank, which will reduce the chance of wraparounds, tangles and crack-offs. They’re braid compatible too. Apart from the 10-footer, the rods are three-piece designs.
