Reebok launches Nano X2 TR Adventure training shoe to turn the park into your gym
The new shoe has plenty of grip for burpees on wet grass or squats on sandy soil
Reebok has unveiled the Nano X2 TR Adventure – a new training shoe built for outdoor workouts. A rugged cross-training shoe, the Nano X2 TR Adventure fills a specific niche for people who want something different a regular trail running shoe, which will provide shock absorption and grip when you want to take your strength, flexibility, and co-ordination exercises outdoors.
The sole features a lugged treat that's not as deep as a shoe built for racing in mud, but will prevent your feet sliding when you're doing burpees on grass or sandy soil. The midsole is packed with Reebok's Floatride Energy foam, and the upper is made from tough ripstop material to prevent damage and scuffs from hard ground.
A high collar and lace closure give a secure fit (handy for making sharp turns on shuttle runs), while a TPU heel clip offers stability.
The shoe comes in both men's and women's sizes, and costs $140 (UK pricing is yet to be confirmed). It will be available to Reebok UNLOCKED members on August 18, and to everyone from August 24. We're currently testing the Reebok Nano X2 Adventure, and will bring you a full review very soon.
